Howard has built a core team of direct employees and established long standing trusted relationships with a number of key sub-contractors and designers, the merger of which enables Pencabe to maintain its reputation for delivering quality results within programme and on budget.
We operate as a full design and build contractor, managing the entire process for clients, in a traditionally procured model, with limited contractor design or as part of a wider team, delivering specific key aspects of a larger project. Howard Tucker originally qualified as a design draughtsman in M&E Services culminating in the ACIBSE accreditation. Howard has worked for M&E Service’s contractors and consultants, progressing to project management roles in Quantity Surveying practices, finally specialising in commercial office fit-out contracting. In addition to his engineering qualifications, he has a Master’s Degree in Construction Management and is a member of the Institute of Construction Safety (ICS).
John McDonagh joined Pencabe as Senior Contracts Manager in 2002 coming from a building background, having trained initially as a carpenter. He has extensive experience as a site manager with a major construction company and within the fit out contracting world. He offers a wealth of experience to any project, manages onsite teams efficiently and has a relaxed and patient management style when things occasionally get more challenging.
